Making Black Millionaires

A Financial Literacy Book Focused on Making Black Millionaires Common

For the month of October, my reading list dwindled from three books to two. Why? Because honestly, your girl was slipping and trying to complete my reads from September. Which included, polishing off my required monthly economic read. One of my chosen reads from that month was a guide to making black millionaires.

If you hadn’t noticed, the Real Women Read monthly reading list always includes a book for personal growth, professional growth, and financial growth. My September pick was fittingly “We Should All Be Millionaires” by Rachel Rodgers.

Early social media reviews call it ‘…the “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” for Black Women.’ As someone who has read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”, I actually feel Rachel’s contribution to financial literacy has no need to be compared. It stands firmly on its own as a real, genuine, and factual guidebook for any minority woman seeking millionaire-hood.

Now, while “millionaire-hood” is not an actual thing, it is an achievement that many of us desire. Rachel shines the light on why making black millionaires should be common place instead of a random success story.

Millionaire Author, Rachel Rodgers

Not only does she share her rags to multi-million riches story; she gives readers a clear roadmap on how she did it. And it’s not some ridiculous save every dime you can method. She literally helps you remove the limitation/lack mindset that many of us have. The mindset is not some negative thinking that we just come up with, either. Rodgers provides the receipts as to how our society systemically helped create a limitation mindset in women; especially minority women.
