Submit Payment: The Black Friday Beauty Sales You want!!!

Confession time, my name is Jasmyne and I am a sale stalker!!! When I find a product that I like I will prey and pray on it to chase the best sale, because she (Jasmyne, me) doesn’t like to pay full price for anything. I’m always ballin’ on a budget. I stalk the selling trends of the companies that I love and can pretty much predict when they will are having a sale and that’s when I strike.

As a beauty enthusiast who loves products, holiday sales are probably my favorite time of year. In general, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the busiest sales days of the year because companies are trying to entice you with outrageous savings. Beauty Brands are joining in on this and having some of the best holiday sales.

During this global pandemic Black-owned businesses have been hit the hardest shutting down at twice the rate of other small businesses. In an effort to bring awareness to the fact that some black brands have been struggling during this pandemic, Facebook has launched a campaign Buy Black Friday to highlight small Black owned businesses and attract new customers to push sales. On Facebook follow the hashtag #buyblack for The Facebook Holiday Gift Guide. On the beauty tab brands such as Beloved Box, Redoux Nyc and People Of Color Beauty, just to name a few, are featured.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales have the potential to impact the growth of Black brands immensely. In 2017, Reynell “Supa Cent” Steward the owner of the Black-owned business The Crayon Case, a makeup brand achieved $1 million in sales in 90 minutes and in 2019 she did it again with $1.3 million in sales in just 60 minutes. There is no doubt that this brand will see the same revenue in the 2020 holiday sale. Over 200 Black-owned U.S. based companies will be participating in Cynthia Daniels launch of Black Business Friday, which is a virtual shopping experience to grow the sales of these smaller business during Covid 19. Cynthia had a successful Juneteenth Shop Black event that catapulted 100 Black-owned businesses and generated $1 million in sales. Go to Cynthia Daniels virtual Black Friday Business event on eventbrite and sign up for the FREE event. On November 27, 2020 you will receive a link and then its time to show love to all the Black business you want.
