Fifteen years ago the tragic and mysterious death of the Dean of Pledges for the Alpha Beta Omega Sorority, Inc., occurred. As time moves forward four sorority sisters have made peace with that and continue to bond over sisterhood and sorority. The past however always has a way of reentering ones life. Lifetime presents: Line Sisters.
Line Sisters is about four close sorority sisters- Valerie (LeToya Luckett), Dominique (Drew Sidora), Simona (Ta’Rhonda Jones) and Cassandra (Kierra Sheard-Kelly) and their plans to have an epic Black Greek weekend celebration in North Carolina. What they didn’t plan for was to have to face the ghost of their past which seeks to threaten them now.
Lifetime’s Line Sisters is produced by Big Dreams Entertainment in collaboration with Undaunted Content. Tailiah Breon is tasked with directing the Line Sisters script written by Jasmine S. Greene and Scott Mullen. The film executive producers are Leslie Greif and D’Angela Proctor.
I attended the Lifetime original movie premiere in Atlanta and had the opportunity to chat with the cast about their project and they didn’t hold back in responding to why the script was a page turner, the importance of getting the depictions of Black Sororities and Fraternities correct.
