Black Woman Opens First Co-Working Space in Clayton County

Crystal Cooper founded her firm, Cohesive Consulting, after Corporate America decided that she could be discarded. But she knew what they didn’t, she was valuable, insightful and more focused than ever. She would go on to set her name as a first in Clayton County, GA.

“At that point, I decided that I was not going to allow myself to absorb any more toxic energy in an environment where I was under-appreciated. So, I went all in on my own business to provide other entrepreneurs of color tools and resources to automate their business and become more profitable.” But that wasn’t enough. Cooper researched and analyzed different ways that she could increase awareness and install an unstoppable network of black entrepreneurs in her community. Her solution was building the CC Business Lounge, an environment where we can all prosper in pride, purpose and excellence. If ONE of us has a failing business, then we ALL have a failing business.
