Happy 2022! This is my first official post of the new year and I am really in a good place as I type this. I am beyond overjoyed that I have become aware that I am creating a life I love! *Insert praise hands and huge, grin*
Once Upon A Time
For those of you who have been following IHTG and my personal development ramblings, you already know that I embarked on this manifestation journey in 2019. But honestly, we are always, always, ALWAYS manifesting. What we speak we are experiencing. And if you don’t like what you’re experiencing, you should change what you’re speaking.
In 2019, I made an intention to get to the meat and bones of “who” I am. The desire to heal trauma and deal with unresolved pain and disappointment was the motivator so that I could walk fully in the great expectations of my future. I didn’t want to continue living in 2009. I was ready to start creating a life I love and rush to meet each new morning.
Creating a life I love didn’t come easy. Self-work was brutal. There were days when I would just cry. It was like living in a mind field of emotional and mental triggers. However, each discovery led me to this current euphoria.
Creating a Life I Love
Your life experience is up to you! But you have to be willing, intentional, and committed. Let me share with you a few things I did on my path to creating a life I love:
- Read a book. I committed to reading 3 to 4 books each month on an intentional area of focus. Here’s a link to my full 2021 book list.
- Daily Affirmations. Speaking positive statements over your life activates the belief power.
- Visualization. When you connect the power of words with the power of visualization, you strengthen the belief.
While this may seem like a short, almost too good-to-be-true route to a joyful life experience; it boils down to creating healthy habits and routines.
