It may be a wrap for “The Game,” but apparently Brandy is continuing her relationship with BET. The network recently announced that the 36-year-old will be starring in a new romantic comedy titled “Zoë Moon.”
According to BET, in the scripted series, Brandy will be playing “a newly divorced single mom embarking on her new life and career as a fledgling cosmetics mogul — but it won’t be easy. Her ex-husband is not ready to take a back seat in her life, nor is her precocious 10 year-old son ready for her new dating life.”
Brandy is definitely doing her thing. Just last week we reported that the actress will be playing Roxie Hart in popular Broadway play “Chicago.”
In other BET news, the network also announced that new mom Kelly Rowland snagged a show of her own as well. In the musically competitive series titled “Chasing Destiny,” the former Destiny’s Child singer executes “a multiplatform search for the next blazing hot singing sensation that will bring together young women with all that’s required to meet” her “standards for excellence.”
So far, air dates have not been provided, but we suspect that we’ll be hearing more over the next few months.
