First of all Lovecraft Country episode 7 was a full holy word from sweet baby Jesus! The visual appeal, quality and special FX: Phenomenal. The caliber of the writing is unlike anything we’ve ever seen on TV . . . Ever, and when I say “we” I mean every single human being on the face of the planet earth! As we watched Hippolyta Freeman transcend worlds and the limits of her own convictions, the liberation was felt on a spiritual scale.
The merger of Afrofuturism to explore the narrative and brilliance of black women: POWERFUL! Black Twitter was abuzz with the holy ghost! There were a lot of Amazing tweets and social media posts that helped expressed how we felt. There were even some by the Writers and Creators of the show themselves, along with some educational ones.
