Tell us about your business/brand. All Things Beeswax & More LLC is a company that started out with intentions of only candles and wax melts. It has now been expanded to other items; room sprays and car fresheners. There are many more items coming and it’s SO exciting! So stay tuned for more! What sets me apart from everyone else is the dedication and thought that goes into my products. I put a lot of thought into my work because I want you guys to feel the passion I have for what I do when you burn my candle. I want you guys to get your favorite items and know that there is no disappointment, because I’ve run hours of tests on your favorite candles, to ensure your satisfaction.
Briefly share your story. How did you get started and how did you get to where you are today? I got started in 2019. I have always wanted to be a business owner and I felt that it would never be the right time if I kept waiting for the right time. So I jumped into my dream; head first. I got where I am now, with hard work and dedication. Speaking of the things I want and believing the things I want will come to pass. After all, you can’t have faith without substance and expect your desires to just happen.
Please share how you first started your business, and why you feel it is important for women to follow their dreams. I started my business with research and faith. I researched the things I’d need and bought them, then I researched the industry and information on the products I chose to make and sell. Then I began experimenting until my craft was what I wanted it to be. It’s important to follow your dreams because it can make you happy. There’s no better happiness than self-made happiness. Also, if you don’t follow your dreams, who will?
Has it been an easy road? If not, what are some of the challenges you’ve overcome? No. By no means, has this been an easy road. From let downs and disappointments, to lack of support from the people I lost expected it from. My biggest hurdle was finding it in me when my closest people weren’t even supporting me. I thought, “what’s the point, when my own family or friends aren’t willing to support me?” I had to realize, sometimes, your biggest supporters are strangers.
