As her 3rd location celebrates it’s Grand Opening in Georgia, Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole share her secrets to success in an exclusive interview with I Hear That Girl. IHTG was on site for the restaurants soft opening where in celebration of the 3rd location Cole shared three gems of wisdom with Lifestyle contributor Shay Francis. Going from a media executive to owning a popular food truck turned restaurant chain in Atlanta. Cole was dropping the jewels from vast experience in the entrepreneurial and professional industry. When we asked for three words of wisdom, Here is what she shared:
Don’t Take No for an Answer.
“The first thing I would say is don’t take “no” for an answer. You can’t say no to me. I believe in myself so much, that anything that I want I can get regardless of what you say. I use No as motivation to get all the things that I want. So you can tell me no a million times and I’m going to always make sure that millionth one time is a yes.“
Own Your Room
“The second thing I would say is Own Your Room! Every room you walk into you gotta be so confident that people feel you before you walk in the door. If you own your room, and you command the audience, then anything you want in this life, in business, personally, professionally, anything, you’re going to be able to get it.”
Those Who Take Chances Make Advances
“The last thing I would say is” those who take chances make advances”. If you take a leap you’re almost halfway there and literally anything you want you can get it. Listen. It’s easy, It’s mathematics! As long as you believe in yourself, you work hard. You don’t give up, and you constantly surround yourself with the right people, you as a black woman, an entrepreneur, or in any business you’ll be successful.”
