support

This is what support looks like: Ways you can support and ask for support from others

Recently I chatted with a friend about the importance of verbalizing your need of support to others. Most of the time, we “assume” that people just know how to support us. That isn’t fair to them. I am convinced and know for sure that there are more people rooting for you than there are against you. And support is not always monetary.

One of the problems I’ve found with business owners is that they have an expectation for support but have never explicitly told their audience how to support them.  And the reason for this lack of verbalizing our need is partly based on the fact that we can’t differentiate support outside of monetary support.  We have to think outside the box and reimagine what support looks like.  With that being said, let me outline 10 ways that I would love for you to support my endeavors hear at I Hear That Girl!:
