When the STRONGER Tour rolled into Winthrop University we were greeted with a smiling face and tons of southern hospitality. The African Student Association president, Markael Dodd, was so friendly and we quickly learned that it was also the the spirit of the campus. Our panelists for this event were: Markael Dodd, Diane Phillips, and Nia Anthony, along with our resident comedian, Alton Walker. The audience was very engaged and the different perspectives added to an invigorating dialogue as we discussed white privilege, domestic violence, and the importance of black lives.
