After a long-term relationship that did not work and observing the hurt that hurt people beget onto others; Gessie Belizaire decided that enough was enough. She made the hurt of failed relationships the pain point to remedy when creating TRUTHS. The question cards help to guide you to your truth.
TRUTHS is a deck of 33 question cards specifically created with singles and couples in mind who are ready to find and or affirm the one. Gessie shared that the recommended use for the cards could be in a group, with a partner/love interest, for a routine check-in with a partner, or as journal prompts.
TRUTHS is an acronym that stands for Total Rooted Understanding in our True Heart Stance. It is her homage to the mission and the vision of TRUTHS, “I want to walk boldly and to encourage others to also walk boldly in the total rooted understanding of their heart stance.” She goes on to say, “I believe if we were more focused on our heart posture…how we love…and how we show up for ourselves and for each other in all spaces then we would have the ability to transform not only our own individual lives but also our collective lives and the world at large.”
She ends our time together by stating, “I hope you will leave the experience gaining a deeper understanding of self for the betterment of “the us” both present and future.”
