Protect Black Women: Where are our sisters?

The nation has a problem. Black women are vanishing at astounding rates. We must protect black women at all costs. What’s worse? Mainstream media doesn’t seem to see this as a national emergency. No one is reporting on the estimated 75,000 Black women and girls whose families clamor for answers.

While human trafficking is the primary cause, there is also an issue of organ trafficking that black peoples have been well aware of for quite some time. We must stay vigilant and look out for one another. It’s obvious that no one else is concerned about our lives. Over the weekend, a video by multimedia personality, Egypt Sherrod, has gone viral and been shared multiple times. Sherrod, pleads on the video that black women and men stay aware of their surroundings and take extra precautions to avoid becoming a statistic.
