Yes. We’ve all been cooped up trying to save ourselves from big, bad ‘Rona. During this time, my friends and I have been daydreaming about where we’re going to travel when outside decides to open back up. At this point, it’s hard to say when that will be. Yet, we are hopeful that it is soon.
International travel agent, Kenya Winfrey (The Gemini Travels), is noticing a generational trend in travel. “My millennials are looking to explore Europe like Greece and Italy, while the Gen X’ers want to resume travel to the Caribbean. I think the most surprising are the requests for cruises. When Coronavirus has been stabilized, all age groups are prepared to go right back to cruising despite difficulties during the pandemic.”
With that being said, we’ve developed a list of the top 3 places we’ll likely travel to when that day comes:
Barbados:
Barbados is amongst a handful of countries still accepting US travelers. On top of that, the island country is accepting Americans to stay a little longer by working remotely for up to 12 months without requiring a VISA stamp. Working remotely has never sounded so good.
Jamaica:
The country recently reopened its borders to tourists with some stipulations for Americans in high-risk areas. I’ve traveled to Jamaica before and its beautiful scenery has been calling back! I can’t wait to get back there and visit some friends.
Phoenix, AZ:
My girlfriends and I have wanted to do a Desert Spa Getaway for FOREVER. 2020 was supposed to be our Girlfriends Spa Getaway in Arizona but ‘Rona crashed the party. But the idea of enjoying mud baths and the warm desert weather is all a girl can hope for.
