#BLACKGIRLMAGIC: Mayor Keisha Unveils the ONE Atlanta Museum

The Big Game is here and our gorgeous Mayor, Keisha Bottoms, has been making her rounds handling all things with style and class.  It’s always great to see a black woman in a place of power on the world’s stage for an event like this.  Yeah… we are so proud of our sis!  Mayor Bottoms hosted the ONE Atlanta Museum with a special art curation by The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), an art exhibit by select students of the Atlanta Public Schools (APS) and works from Buckhead Art & Company.

ONE Atlanta
T.I. speaks at the opening of the ONE Atlanta Museum.

ONE Atlanta is Mayor Bottom’s platform and a promise to the city- to create an affordable, resilient and equitable Atlanta.  The concept highlighted Atlanta’s heritage and bridges the gap of diversity in the prominent neighborhoods of Southwest Atlanta, East Atlanta, the West End, Buckhead, Downtown and Midtown Atlanta.

Special guest, TI, showed his support of Mayor Bottoms and the ONE Atlanta initiative.

From providing an intersection between past and present to experiencing true southern food and musical sounds sponsored by Pandora at the Block Party occurring on Bonaventure Ave, ONE Atlanta Museum showcases the amazing energy and history that this city offers.

IHTG congratulates Mayor Bottoms on the forward progress she is making on ONE Atlanta.  We will continue to support our sister and give her a big “I Hear That Girl!”  So tell us, will you be visiting the ONE Atlanta Museum?
