Women That Rock: Jade Novah “All Blue” Debut Live at The Loft

I was recently invited to Jade Novah’s debut album party.  I am no newbie to this artist.  I’ve been following Jade Novah for at least 4 years now.  She’s an uber talented artist that gained viral popularity from her hilarious and on point meme videos of Beyonce.  No one can do “Beyonce” like Jade Novah.

Her singing chops are no secret, and most people came to know of her through her cover songs on YouTube.  So, to see her finally releasing music of her own is the glow-up I’ve been waiting for.  In all fairness, she has released singles before, but there is a difference this time.  I get the feeling that it is her time!  I’ve heard “All Blue” playing on the radio and to see the love she is getting in markets across the country is great.  I love seeing sisters when they “arrive” at their time.  This is another reason I was eager to see the show.

When sis came out Live at The Loft, she delivered two tracks from her debut album.  The opening songs are groovy and immediately gave the packed house a dance vibe that had us yearning for more.  Novah then reminded the audience of her humble beginnings into the music industry with 2 cover songs.  Of course, the audience was extremely familiar with these songs and most importantly reminded oh how they came to know Jade Novah.  This is the moment that gave me goosebumps.  This is her moment and she deserves to win.  I love seeing her in her element.  She has worked diligently and consistently at her craft, so it’s good to see the fruition of those dreams.
Her voice is crystal clear and precise with every note.  Seriously, I thought the record was playing, but no… sister girl is LIVE!

She paused to talk to the audience about how she is finally coming into her own at 32. She talks about how society tries to put everyone on the same trajectory, but everyone has their own journey!  The crowd definitely felt her in this as she segued into “Time”, a heartfelt song that echoes that idea and showcases her vocal power.  She follows that with “Try”, a full bodied groove that gives you those pop feels.  This is where we truly see the magnitude of the star rising before our eyes.  Jade Novah is a fluid vocalist that transcends any particular genre.

Her debut album, “All Blue” is a great example of all that this artist has to offer.  I look forward to continuously seeing her grow and become the superstar we know she is.  From I Hear That Girl to you, Jade Novah… we are rooting for you sis!
