If you’ve been wondering what Da Brat has been up to these days, wait no longer.
According to AJC.com, the rapper will be joining the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, making her the third female-cohost in just over a year.
Da Brat, government name: Shawntee Harris, replaces “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Claudia Jordan, who recently announced that she was leaving the show. Before Claudia, there was Ebony Steele who’d been with the show for seven years before she was released from her duties without explanation.
Smiley’s morning show airs in 60 markets nationwide.
Another former housewife, Porsha Williams, will stay on the show as the female representative on the TV Show “Dish Nation.”
Da Brat, 41, an Atlanta resident, participated in the fifth season of “Celebrity Fit Club” on VH1, as well as an episode of “Styled by June.”
She’s also been a regular on the show for the past year, doing free style battle with fellow cast members Headkrack and Gary With Da Tea.
