Brownstone singer Charmayne “Maxee” Maxwell passed away over the weekend. The singer’s untimely death was confirmed by her brother, Brandon Maxwell, who expressed that she “died in the most terrible way.”
“Bad things happened to the most innocent people. My sister died in the most terrible way and I’m in so much pain right now,” the singer’s grieving brother tweeted.
“I’m so [devastated] because you deserved to stay on this earth much longer,” he went on to say. You had such an amazing talent and you went really far with your singing career. I felt so inspired from you and it gave me motivation to become the best performer I could be. I love you so much sis, I’m so grateful I was able to have you in my life.”
Her cause of death has not been officially confirmed and as of yesterday, Maxee’s relatives were still trying to piece together exactly what happened. However, according to Danish media outlets, she suffered a fatal fall at her home after her son’s soccer game.
TMZ has reported that the incident occurred at the Los Angeles home Maxwell shared with her husband Danish music producer Carsten Soulshock and their son, Nicholas. She was reportedly discovered by her husband, bleeding profusely from her neck. Maxee was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital, but passed away in the ambulance.
