BronzeLens Film Festival “Don’t Let Go” Screening

The Bronzelens Film Festival kicked off this week, and they gave us an amazing opening night for the film festival. There were so many media, stars, directors, producers and actors in attendance. Truly, a star-studded evening. For the opening night film selection, we got a special viewing of David Oyelowo’s suspense/thriller, “Don’t Let Go”.

During the Q&A with cast and producers, David spoke on his role in the movie and how he prepared for the role, making it fit him. He stated that the movie shows how we all can have those moments and come together when the tragedy befalls someone we love. He also discussed the amazing chemistry he and Storm had that helped to create such a powerful performance.

“Don’t Let Go” will have you jumping out of your seat. The film really showcases how much we value family, the things we would do to keep them safe, and the lengths we would go to make sure we protect them. The movie hits hard on the idea of second chances and leads you to ask, “What would you do if you could do it all over again? How would you respond to a 2nd chance? Would you be willing to sacrifice yourself to save someone else, and how much can you trust those around you?”

I think this movie shows us, love, compassion, family, foes and sacrifices but most importantly teaches us about life. It gives us a glimpse into the world we live in and plays on our own fears of possibly losing someone we love and would love to get back. I don’t want to give it all away but it is a must-see and you will definitely be happy you did.
