The beauty and excellence of #BlackGirlMagic is celebrated across the world every day. Now there is the amazing news about Haley Taylor Schlitz and her path to graduating college and starting law school at age 16. 

According to Law.com, Most 16-year-olds spend the summer break working, going to camp, or hanging out with their friends. Not so for Haley Taylor Schlitz, who’s on track to graduate with both an associate’s and bachelor’s degree in May. She’ll spend the upcoming summer preparing to start law school and attending a six-day program with the American Civil Liberties Union in Washington for incoming law students.

Haley has selected to attend the SMU Dedman School of Law but was also accepted to the following schools:

University of Houston Law Center

Texas Tech University School of Law

Howard University School of Law

University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law

University of North Texas Dallas College of Law

Southern University Law Center

Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law

St. Mary’s University School of Law
