A Quick 8 Minute Guided Meditation to Help You Face Fear

Every morning, I start my day with prayer and meditation. I get lots of questions about how to meditate without falling asleep. Trust me, I had the same issue when I started. I found that a guided meditation was most helpful for me as a beginner. When you’re starting, most people find it difficult to focus and don’t know exactly what they should be doing. So, having assistance through the process is a benefit.

In actuality, there is no “right” way to meditate. However, the two main things you want to accomplish is focus and breathing. Focusing on your breathing is a great way to begin. I like to focus on what my spirit is saying. So I visualize myself coming before the great Creator of all things. The spirit being that cannot be named. For the month of December, I’ve decided to share my themed meditations with you in hopes that those who need assistance getting to that place of perfect focus and peace, do. This week’s meditation focuses on facing our fears. Our fears have no real power, they just block us from the joy, happiness, and success that awaits us on the other side.
