#DareToGoNaked Mental Health Awareness Campaign

Created by Model, Poet & Philanthropist De’Anna Liz, the #DareToGoNaked social media activation is an extension of The Naked Campaign, which focuses on empowering women with self-love challenges, low self-esteem, women who have been raped, abused via violence, and women dealing with mental health challenges stemming from life adversities. On May 1st at 5:01pm, celebrity influencers will use their social media platforms to support the campaign by posting a unified image and message for mental health awareness. Confirmed influencers include TV personalities Kimbella, Karlie Redd, Miss Nikki Baby, Teairra Mari, Meghan James, Brooklyn Tankard, as well as Claire Summers of Fashion Bomb Daily.

The Naked Foundation offers a non-traditional approach through art-based programs, and events that combat self-esteem & mental health challenges through workshops, conversations, events and more. Programs and events such as fashion shows, cause walks & runs, will raise awareness and funds toward aiding women that are suffering.  Though the programs are art-based, the foundation focuses on the issues that are often undiagnosed or misunderstood such as, Major Depression, Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Love and Sex Addiction, Adjustment Disorders, Social Phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Co-Occurring Addictions & Substance Misuse, Anger Problems & Self-Esteem Issues.  “I feel like together, we can break the silence. These issues are affecting our friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers every day. I realize that there is no overnight cure for these challenges but I believe that I can assist by providing an outlet along with a variety of resources for these women. The programs will be paramount to the success of the campaign.” says Deanna Liz.
