Here at I Hear That Girl!, we love all things Lupita! She is an example of grace, poise, and beauty that defies stereotypes of black women. I love seeing this beauty on magazines, commercials, and film. Now, you can hear her voice as Raksha, the mother of Mowgli in Disney’s new film, Jungle Book. Lupita posted a film trailer on her Facebook page and it really has me itching to see this film! It’s a great family movie as it’s a classic for me and possibly a new classic for my 6 year old nephew. The film will hit theaters April 15th. Will you be supporting this film?
